Piraeus, 2025 – With its gaze fixed on the future of education, the General Lyceum of Kallipolis has successfully completed the innovative Erasmus+ (KA122) program titled “AI-cademy: Artificial Intelligence Leads the School Toward the Future”. The program, fully funded by the European Union through the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY), combined high-level teacher training with international student collaboration, laying the foundations for a modern, digital school. Through a pioneering approach that connects classical literature with cutting-edge technology, GEL Kallipolis proved that public schools can play a leading role in international developments, cultivating digitally literate and creative citizens.

A New Chapter for GEL Kallipolis

The “AI-cademy” program concludes, leaving behind a significant legacy. Through the fusion of student group mobility—which highlighted the power of collaboration and art—and individual teacher training—which upgraded the school’s digital arsenal—GEL Kallipolis has been transformed into an innovation hub.

Looking ahead, our school has already submitted an application for Erasmus Accreditation. If approved, this will ensure the continuation of our extroversion and digital transition, allowing even more students and teachers to participate in European actions.

Today, our school community stands with increased confidence before the challenges of the 21st century, proving that when Artificial Intelligence serves humanity and education, it can open new horizons for creativity, critical thinking, and European fellowship.
